The Interactive Account Executive is an exciting and challenging sales position based in our downtown Chicago offices. You will work with a high performing Interactive Media sales team responsible for selling advertising and sponsorship programs to national and local advertisers on the Sun-Times Media network of websites. Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate revenue by developing sales strategy and advertising packages.
- Build new and strengthen current client/agency relationships for local advertisers.
- Ensure client campaign delivery and complete follow-through activities.
- Develop expertise in online trends and marketplace.
Qualifications:
This is an outside sales position. College degree desired. Minimum 4 years experience in media sales required. Local client ad sales experience a plus. Minimum two years experience in online sales preferred. Must show successful sales record. Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills. Must be a highly motivated and independent worker. Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft programs: Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment. Please email your resume to
